2007 sees the introduction of an exciting range of new training courses at Bow Studios.  Throughout 2006, we were asked by amateur and professional photographers alike if we could train them and now... we can!

We offer both individual (and small private group) training and set courses, so if you want to learn something that is not on our list then we can most likely set up a special day or half day for you.

Our first two courses are:

*  GETTING TO GRIPS WITH YOUR DSLR
*  STUDIO LIGHTING MADE EASY

You can read all about these courses by clicking on the blue buttons to the left.  Both courses are very practical or 'hands on'.  Some people would call them 'workshops' but we believe that workshops are where cars get fixed!  Each course offers a nice balance between theory and practice and all delegates will have the opportunity to try the techniques that they learn and ask the tutor as many questions as they like.

Our courses are held at Bow Village Hall, in Mid Devon.  The hall is a nice size and has a reasonable amount of free car parking.  Bow is on the A3072 about 8miles from Crediton and 10miles from Okehampton, we can help with directions if asked.  The hall has plenty of seating and a kitchen where we can make tea and coffee.

A hearty lunch is included in the cost of the course and we eat at the White Hart Hotel, about 5minutes walk from the hall.  If the course is on a Sunday then roast dinner is on us!

Bow does not have any hotels in the village but there are two very good ones nearby, within 2 miles of the hall.  Both are very reasonably priced and we will provide information on them when we confirm your booking, or before if you ask.

Then why not team up with Bow Studios and offer our courses to your customers.  In exchange for promoting our training we can offer you commission on places booked.  We can also tailor courses for you and teach them around the UK at your shop.
